Policies

Registration & Reservations

An appointment is required for all private sessions and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Click here to request an appointment.

A reservation is required for all mat classes, except drop-ins. Click here to reserve your spot in an upcoming mat class series.

Drop-Ins

Drop-ins are allowed for clients who have completed at least one full mat session (minimum 8 classes) at The Wellness Scoop and have the instructor’s permission. Please note that priority is given to registered clients and drop-ins are not guaranteed a spot in class. Therefore it is strongly recommended that you call ahead to see if there is space in the class.

Another option is to register and pay only for specific dates within a session. That way you are assured a spot in the class and, if you register for a total of at least 5 classes, you are eligible for the registered rate, which is less expensive then the drop-in rate.

New clients

All new clients must sign a waiver form. Click here to complete and print the waiver.

Cancellations & Make-ups

Private sessions

Appointments for private sessions that are cancelled or changed with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full price for the session. If you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment you will also be charged for the session. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Private session packages expire one year from the date of purchase. Any unused sessions will be forfeited after the expiration date. If your email is on file with us, you will receive an alert two weeks prior to the date that your package is about to expire.

Mat classes

Refund Policy
If you notify The Wellness Scoop any time prior to the 1st class - Full refund.

If you notify The Wellness Scoop between the 1st and 2nd class - Full refund minus the cost of one class (regardless of attendance).

If you notify The Wellness Scoop between the 2nd and 3rd week of class - Full refund minus cost of 2 classes (regardless of attendance) + $30 administrative fee

NO REFUNDS after 3rd week of classes

We reserve the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment. All registered clients will be notified at least 24 hours in advance if a class is cancelled, and payments will be refunded or credited to your account, at your discretion.

Make-up Policy

You may make-up a missed mat class at any other available class for up to one year after the start of your mat series. After one year, your missed classes will be forfeited, unless you request a credit prior to the expiration date.

It is strongly advised that you call ahead or check with the instructor before coming to a make-up class, to ensure that the class is being held and that there is space for you in the class.

Because class sizes are small, the studio requests that you let the instructor know as soon as possible if you are going to miss a class. This allows for better planning for the instructor and your Pilates classmates who may want to take a make-up class.

Inclement Weather

The Wellness Scoop makes every effort to stay open and hold all scheduled classes and appointments, while always considering the safety our clients as our number one priority.

In the event of inclement weather, closing and delayed opening information will be posted on our website and on the outgoing message at 410-719-9355. If you are unsure, always contact the studio before heading to class or an appointment.

If a class is cancelled, you will have the option of 1) taking a make-up class 2) receiving a credit towards another class, or 3) receiving a refund for the cancelled class.
